Dr. Asma Jamil Sadiq is part of the multidisciplinary team at the Spectrum Neuroscience and Treatment Institute in New York City. She has been board certified in General Pediatrics, Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics and Neuro-Developmental Pediatrics.
Having worked for over 19 years as Director of Child Development at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, she has extensive experience in providing care for children with special needs. Dr. Sadiq works with children challenged with learning and behavioral issues. Whether a difference is a dysfunction or a disability: symptoms warranting a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental delays are often associated medical conditions that need further evaluation and treatment.
Dr. Sadiq uses an integrative medicine approach which respects the spectrum of bio-medical individuality along with underlying genetic and metabolic issues. She is skilled in working through relevant family dynamics and the impact of stress and nutrition as part of her child centered care. She works to partner with parents as they negotiate through treatment options and therapeutic interventions, and recommends appropriate educational services and accommodations as needed.
Dr. Sadiq also provides a Neuro-Developmental evaluation as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluation offered at the Spectrum Neuroscience and Treatment Center which includes:

- Developmental-Behavioral/ Neuro-developmental Evaluation
- Psycho-educational & Neuropsychological evaluation.
- Psychiatric Consultation
- Individual therapy
